Default AMD AM3 Phenom II 720

Anyone have experience installing the AMD Phenom II AM3 720 chip on the GA-MA770-UD3 MB? The CPU is listed as compatible but because it's an AM3 chip I'm wondering how others' systems are running with the chip.

Have you checked the CPU compatibility table?
    GIGABYTE - Support&Download - Motherboard - CPU Support List - GA-MA770-UD3 (rev. 1.0)
You need F4 bios. I am not sure what if your mobo came with an earlier bios (no boot maybe? in that case you'll need to borrow a supported CPU and flash the bios), but excepting this, the sistem should work just fine.

The chip is compatible according to Gigabyte. What I'm looking for are some users who've actually installed the chip on the MA770-UD3 board. How's it working out?
