    See for yourself.
Yes you're right and I had fogotten about that. Another guy in another forum suggested that. But sadly it prime95 instantly crashes when I set ram to 1060 as you suggest. That's porbably why I forgot about it because it won't work.

Thanks for the heads up on that tho,

This is what I've been trying to explain to you, but with your FSB setting you can't set the MCH Freq. Latch to Auto. Set it manually, and preferably to 333 and use the 2.40 multiplier. (I hope you've figured this out by now).

Yeah well,... what does Prime95 crash on? Small or Large FFT's. Small would usually be the CPU (settings) and Large the RAM settings, and sorry to tell you but - 1060 mem freq. will work, it's likely to be another setting that's at fault. JMO.

You could try BIOS F8. My UD3P came with F7, so I don't know whether F6 was worse than that
Ahhh...ok, well I tried you numbers at 9x467...let me try at 442x9.5 and report back.

    Thanks,

The setting right above blend, I'll double check and get back to you. I use that setting because if it's going to error, it will error faster on that setting. Then if stable, I go back and run blend and see.

    But i'll check and report

    thanks,

    Large FFT's, instant error.

Just as a matter of interest, why did you change boards?
My own little well posted problem is with memory and trying to get 1:1 .
It does 1063 in some situations.
    http://www.hardwarelogic.com/news/13...008-11-19.html
or 1000mhz at 4-4-4-12 in another ,could be the memory batch or it just doesnt like p45 that much.but anyway back to your stuff.
You know the memory runs 1080-1121 okish, how hot does your cpu get on the 4ghz when testing?
When you load optimum defaults in bios,it runs the ram on a multiplier?
Have u tried setting the ram on 2:00 from there( any of them) and seeing how far you can go with memory at 1:1? with everything on auto.
Maybe even drop the memory timings down to 4-4-4-12 until you reach a limit on fsb increases.
Have you tried the lower cpu multiplier it has 8 x on it?
I think ,well so ive read and thats the way my pc works, the higher the fsb the more bandwidth you get assuming you dont have to relax memory timings for a few mhz fsb increase. My memory flakes out where it hits the theoretical 16G/s chipset bandwidth limit. It did 9.05Gb/s synthetic sandra at some stettings around 500fsb I cant remember them now:(

From your settings .06 sounds like a v high drop under load on the cpu voltage.

My cpu will run 1.392+ indicated(in speedfan or cpuz) under auto settings for any fsb speed over 475 or so .
It wont drop(for me) below 1.37 under load.
It doesnt seem to need that tho,as nickel was saying above, until it hits 500 fsb + and even then its hard to know as the only way i can get higher than that is by inc mem voltage (A lot).
However I think 1.36 under load would be a little low for my cpu at those speeds.

Run Easytune 6 and check waht Auto sets the CPU PLL and CPU Termination to. I would not run more than 1.36V termination and 1.65V PLL for 24/7 use, these are voltages that can kill your CPU if set too high. They help a lot with overclocking but they're also pretty dangerous.

Sorry, I tried to set ram ar 2.0D and 442x9.5 and use the numbers you gave and tried different combinations tRead at 10 and 12. No post and bios resets itself. Also tried cpu term at 1.2 and 1.3, pll at 1.50 (there is no 1.55, only 1.57) and 1.65. No post and bios reset itself.

    Thanks,
