    Default Audio out on EP45-UD3P?

Can I have an analog output being used at the same time as SPDIF?
Also is there a way to switch between SPDIF out and analog out without having to reboot the system? When I try switching between the two, I loose all audio until reboot.
    thanks in advance

I have never used SPDIF out, so I don't have much experience here. You could try getting the latest drivers for the audio though, the drivers on the CD are 6 months old so newer ones may fix you problem. Uninstall the old drivers first in control panel > software though before installing the new ones.

    Hmm, not sure either.

If you still have the same issue after updating the drivers as suggested please make a thread about this in the Audio section here >>>

Hopefully then some of our other members will get to see your thread longer and will have a answer about this for ya

I would also, while you wait, shoot off a email to Gigabyte Tech support and see if they have a answer for you as well >>>
