Default Can not get Memory to run 1:1 GA-X48

    MOTHER BOARD:GA-X48-DS4
    Ram:2X2gigs Mushkin XPS2 Accent eVCI(996619)

I have tried all settings i can think of and im stumped on what the problem is. Current settings RAM is at 1092 B strap.I would like to get some testing done with it at 1:1 910 D strap and thought that i might close up timming.I cant understand what the problem is or am i missing some thing.I would think that if it will do 1092 at these setting why such problem with 1:1 i have also set timmings to spec 800 speed 5-5-5-18 with advanced set to whats rated.

I saw your post at Mushkin forums, to bad Greg left over there!! Sad to see him go!

I am a bit confused by your Spec comment about 800Mhz being what it is rated at, this is 1066 memory or did you list the Model # wrong?
    Ascent XP2-8500 DDR2 - Mushkin Enhanced

What is happening, no boot or just unstable with what you try?

Here is what I would suggest you try with the above FSB for 1:1 >>>

Robust Graphics Booster___________ [Auto or fast]
    CPU Clock Ratio ____________ [8]
    CPU Host Clock Control_ [Enabled]
    CPU Host Frequency (MHz)__________ [455]
    PCI Express Frequency (Mhz)_______ [100]
    C.I.A. 2__________________________ [Disabled]
System Memory Multiplier (SPD)____ [2.00B or 2.00D] (D May require higher tRD (Static tRead)

DRAM Timing Selectable_______ SPD __ [Manual]

    Performance Enhance = [Standard]

    CAS Latency Time________________ 5
    Dram RAS# to CAS# Delay_________ 5
    Dram RAS# Precharge Delay_______5
    Precharge Delay (tRAS)__________ 15

ACT to ACT Delay (tRRD)_________ 3-4
Rank Write to READ Delay________ 3-6 (May need to try 8-12, but I think MCH voltage is the issue here)

Write to Precharge Delay_________ 4-6 (May need to try 8-14, but I think MCH voltage is the issue here)

    Refresh to ACT Delay______________ 52-58
    Read to Precharge Delay__________ 3-5
    Static tRead Value_______________7-8
    Static tRead Phase Adjust________ Auto

    CPU/PCIEX Clock Driving Control [800mV]
    CPU Clock Skew Control [normal]
    GMCH Clock Skew Control [Normal]

    System Voltage Control____ [Manual]
    DDR2 OverVoltage Control__ [+0.25V] << +0.2-0.3 (Sometimes with Mushkin 2.0 is better)
    PCI-E OverVoltage Control_ [+0.1V]
    FSB OverVoltage Control___ [+0.1V]
    (G)MCH OverVoltage Control [+0.15V ] << +0.2-0.3

Yes the loss of Greg over at Mushkin forums is a big deal. His knowledge of the Mushkin product line was amazing.I still go over there from time to time to see if anything has change or may be by luck Greg was back.
What i meant by rated 800 is i went and found the "same" Mushkin kit (991619)that was rated 800 and tried to use the rated specs at 910 with some small differences like voltage at 2.00 and 2.05 both. The problem i have is when i change to D strap i cant get past Gigabyte load screen then its restarts twice then back to default settings.I do have current config saved so this is no problem just was getting a little confused on why such the problem when i am realy moving down in speed.
I going to give suggested spec a shot as soon as i get home. Thx

I have seen him stop in here the past month or so a few times and answer a few posts. But I think only a few select users he noted that was using the same board he was running right then is why, and I bet he finds it hard to not stop in and offer help after helping for so long (Out of habit ya know)

Ahh, well you confuse me still about your 800Mhz comment, you gotta link?

What I see is 991619 and 996619 are the same chips, the 991619 is just the model number if you purchase one stick at a time instead of the 996619 Kit. They are both 1066 rated sticks

I would need to see your full settings to advise why D strap would not work for you, but Usually it is due to uncorrect voltages to MCH Core, Vtt or MCH Ref. And or to low of a tRD (Static tRead Value), some sticks need 8 or 9 tRD to run on the D strap, so if you was using 7 try 8 or 9
