    Ah ok

    Thanks

I'm was going to test the max FSB tonight

Also this explain a problem I had a while ago
    CPU: Intel C2Q Q6600 G0 @ 3.2GHz W/ 1.184v (Max Overclock - 4.1GHz ON AIR)
    Mobo: Gigabyte EP45-UD3P (Max Overclock - 515FSB)
    RAM: CellShock 2GB PC2-8500 @ 1200MHz 5-5-5-15 (Max Overclock - 1300MHz 5-4-4-12)
    Video Card: Gainward HD4870 GS @ 775MHz/4000MHz (Max Overclock - 835MHz/1175MHz)
    Case: Antec 1200

Ya, some just will not work without certain FSB. Like sometimes above 400 FSB wont easily work with 333 Strap multi's.

And of course the ram (quality) and ram (Density/total amount) set your are using also is a factor

Ahh so I see. Ya I have found a few sets of ram I have wont work with 333 multi's at 400-450+ FSB, then others will work just fine using 333 multi's with 400-500+ FSB

It all depends on the ram from what I have seen. 2x1/4x1 sticks of course are better for everything overclocking-wise

    Yeah, I have 8x1GB sticks

But I only use 4x1GB or 2x1GB (cause I can't take 8 sticks at once)

8x1 would be nice!! I been thinking of comparing 6x1 vs 2x3, I would think the 6x1 may be better, but then again maybe not as that is alot of strain on the NB
