Question Problem with internal card reader, I/O error.

    Hi.

I have a problem with my internal card reader on GA-EP43-DS3.
Sometimes, it take several seconds to get access to it, and other times I get an I/O error. I have no problem with the card reader on my Asus motherboard I have before.

    Please can someone help me?

Have you tried manually assigning a IRQ to this device in the PnP/PCI IRQ page?

    I would try that first.

Do you have the latest Intel Chipset drivers installed? If not, you can get them here >>>
    Software License Agreement

Also, have you tried using a different slot, to be sure the one you are using is not maybe faulty or gets assigned a IRQ that is already in use causing a conflict?

    Hi.

No I have not tried to set the IRQ manually. Have do I do that?

Yes I should have the latest Intel drivers

I have tried both USB internal connectors.
