    Default Ocing GA-EP45T-UD3P

    Recently got a GA-EP45T-UD3P and some tests.
    Setup: Q9650, Kingston Hyperx 1800 Cl8, High Power 1000W.
    Those settings makes 4140 MHz Prime95 stable but some help needed for 4.5 GHz Prime95 test...

    4.5GHz is not an easy thing to do, and I think that without a watercooling setup you won't be able to do it.
    What is you cooling btw and what temps do you have at 4140 MHz?

    If you want to go higher you need to go higher slowly, not jump to 4.5GHz right away. Also lower your RAM speed and timings until you find the max overclock so you can be sure that it's the CPU holding you back, not the RAM. You can always increase the RAM speed again later.

    That board is really cool, Q9650 reaches 4750 MHz air easily.




    I allaways prefer agressive adjustments. Today i tried E8600 on GA-EP45T-UD3P, all auto except 1.3V VCore, 4 GHz Prime stable.

    CPU: 1.3V/28C water
    MCH: 1.1V/33C
