    Default ep45-ud3p Q6600 maxed at 8x390?

I can not get over 400 FSB with anything I do.
Have I maxed out the Q6600?

The most I have gotten is 9x360 and 8x390.
No multi, changed out RAM - 4x1 now 2x2 , ideas please.
    Tkx

I have followed some of the guides and have maxed everything as follows
    in my last attempt:
(I did not see anything about the load line controls.)

That vTt seems high v close to the cpu bios voltage.
What are your other settings, what ram type, multipliers etc.
How high will the ram go stable, using a multiplier ?
There are plenty of 6600 posters, but they would need more info.
No llc setting? seems strange .

OK, I did more testing using the max FSB 6x and Voltages per some postings.
    Vcore 1.45, Vterm 1.4, Vpll 1.45 and MCHv 1.24.
Still no joy over 390 FSB.
Reverted all back to Auto or Normal now and running 9x333 fine.
    At 4 x 100% load Everest reporting Vcore 1.28 and Vdimm 2.00V
    ideas please?

No idea what the ram is^,but try everything on auto except for cpu corev mch core v and ram v.
If your still using 4x1 sticks you can try the 1.05 mch.if it doesnt work no worries.
up to 450 fsb isnt a lot with auto settings. With this /these boards it seems once you wander off the 3 main voltages, you will have to play around with all the other settings /ref.
Check for posts with your mem, whatever it is or the posts here with ud3 and q6600.
Get your memory running at its rated speed first, with multipliers.Should give you a "feel " for the other settings.
Me personally Im on 500fsb with a 2:00B multiplier and performance lvl of 10(static read )
ProfJ another poster found D multiplier was better around 500 fsb with a 9 performance level.
Its very hard to find any QUAD user doing over 515 fsb, duals yeh nps.
Id say work on the ram.. cpu speed staying static wont need much/any v change on it.Once u get the ram up to/near where you want it u can start pushing the cpu along.

Mushkin memory runs best in the low 2.0 volt range. My XP2-8500 runs stable at 2.02 volts up to 1100 MHz.

I've never seen voltages as high as you are using with a relatively low overclock. I think that all your high voltages are causing your o/c problems.

CPU Vcore: With your current cpu frequency, this should probably be at stock or only 1 step (or 2 steps at most) up from the standard setting.

    CPU Termination
: I've seen recommendations from experienced users that this should be at least 0.10 volts lower than the CPU Vcore setting when running high overclock settings. With lower overclocks, this should probably be manually set to the stock value in your bios.

CPU PLL: This can probably be left at 1.50 (set it manually)

MCH Core: 1.20 volts is the minimum for 2x2GB. Try this setting or 1.22, and as a last resort try 1.05 volts. I haven't seen any Mushkin users that needed to set it to 1.05. I'm using 1.26 - 1.28 volts with my 48% o/c.

Keep in mind that that voltages shown in the bios are the "normal" value. The only volt settings that I leave on AUTO are the reference settings.

    FYI-
    I am giving up and moving from a Q6600 to a Q9550.
gonna shoot for 8x500 instead of 8x400.
    I'll post later as needed.
    Thanks
