    Default New to ocing, q9550 please help me

    Hi i would like to overclock my q9550 to 3.6 ghz because my gtx 295 is bottlenecking that [COLOR=blue ! important][COLOR=blue ! important]cpu[/COLOR][/COLOR] i think :S
    heres my computer specs:
    asus gtx 295
    gigabyte GA-EP45T-DS3R
    yorkfield q9550
    antec nine hundred
    750w coolermaster
    CORSAIR XMS3 4GB (2 x 2GB) 1333mhz ddr3 9-9-9-24 1.7V
    OS: vista 64bit home premium
    I'm new to overclocking, ive seen a good guide to overclock under my own bios, please if you have time, change the following information to what i would need, thank you very much.

    Hi,
    Since you've got DDR3 (this template is for DDR2), you cannot get these to work:
    # CAS Latency Time........................4/5
    # tRCD .........................................4/5
    # tRP'...........................................4/5
    # tRAS..........................................12/15
    Read your DDR3 memory specs and set accordingly - like 9-9-9-24.
    Leave all advance timings on auto first (but keep CMD = 2)
    and then try to lower Static tRead and tRFC later.
    Warning!
    DRAM Voltage ……....1.800V............: 2.0-2.1
    You are killing your memory - please set to 1.70V and keep it. Maybe 1.75V will be ok.
    Then this:
    # System Memory Multiplier ..............: 2.00D
    Try 3.xxD get stable oc. Keep in mind your memory may not work propery
    above 1400MHz, so multi 4.xx is not for you.
    Consider decrease of fsb to 390MHz to use B multi for better memory bandwidth.
    You may need to buy high performance DDR3 if you insist on 420+ MHz fsb.
    This:
    # CPU Clock Skew (ps)....................: <<< 50-150
    # MCH Clock Skew (ps)...................: <<< 150-250
    is better to leave on auto for now - i.e. both = 0
    And try to decrease this:
    # MCH Core…………….....1.100V...........: << 1.25-1.35
    to let's say 1.2V. More than this should not be needed for fsb=425
    unless you have many hdds. Maybe 1.25V but not 1.35V in any case.

    dude sorry about that but im french, could you write me the template because i dont wanna misread what u said and do somthing bad, ><, and do you think i got memory problem s and programs instability because i used theses settings ? btw i setted it to fail safe defaults, w/e if yo0u could do me a full template i could send you some money trough paypal, thank you so much.

    and do the #cas latency time / #trcd / #trp' / #tras are 9-9-9-24 ?

    He means you are killing your ddr3 memory.The memory voltages you are putting in are high even for ddr2 memory.
    Defense de fume or however it goes in french.
    Use "optimum defaults" and work from there.

    Hi can you help me to overclock my cpu to the maximum ?
    can i overclock higher and higher until the temps are too warm ?
    or theres other factor that makes my computer unstable exept the temp ?
    BTW: i bought new fans and another 4 gig or ddr3 1333mhz ram :)
