Max Blck runs, I think I have 239 on disk and 4.969 as well but I haven't had a chance to get that disk hooked up to my setup yet to grab them.

I have only heard good things about that CPU cooler. But is that back panel fan pushing in cold air or letting it out? You are running that in a push/pull?

Is there not enough room to have the fans on the bottom of the heatsink blowing air upwards and then the other fan pulling it further to your top fan?

That way cools my CPU better than doing it sideways. I have a Thermalright IFX-14.

LSD: I'm thinking of going with a D0 soon. What do you think? 920 or w3520?
The w3520 you got right now seems pretty sweet :)

Pras: That is supposed to be a good one.
But what happened with the WC then? Too difficult to get all the parts down there?
Anyways, it's looking really good. Keep us posted :)

Ya I want to get me a W3520 soon, I just borrowed this one for a few weeks is all. It actually didn't clock any better for me then the two C0's I have, but it does of course run 4Ghz+ at lower voltages.

My limit now is my board I do believe, I found the same limit with all Three CPU's I put under Dry Ice @ 239 Blck, so I am not sure what CPU of the ones I have used it the better clocking one. But I can say for sure the D0's run with less voltages. Won't know for sure until the revised boards come around, and then I may not be able to borrow this W3520 again, but I will try.

Hopefully I will be able to buy me one soon though. If you can get one and have a choice look for a older batch, like 37xx or 384x

I'd pick a W3520 over a 920 myself, but that is all up to you really.

Thanks a lot for the info LSD :), the Xeons also seem better binned (voltage) than the 920's.
Older batch W3520 it is then :p... once I sell a couple of CPU's I have lying around here.

And that 239bclk wall does sound like the board. I hope it isn't though... otherwise, I'm afraid I'll want to upgrade my mobo to the new rev next >.<

Ya I do believe it has to be the board, no way three different CPU's would top out at the same place almost exactly

You want the new X58A revision anyway, sorry to have to let you know. The only way to pass 222-223 Blck/8.0GT/s QPI without the revised boards is a Hard Mod on the older boards.

    Hey all

How about a 4.4 GHz on air - not bad I think on a C0. I think it is only stable for gaming and running Furmark was not a problem.

But it really needed some high voltage on the Vcore. How high a voltage can I go, does anyone know and have tried going higher? The temperatures seems to me to look OK when running Furmark.

I have went much higher, but I don't use air. Not sure how high would be safe, depends a lot on temps of course.

Intel's stated Max is 1.55V so you have some room
