Most likely it's your cpu not your board. Try bumping CPU PLL voltage to 1.96, x19 multi with 190bclk, 36x,16x,8x and around 1.45 vcore 1.44 qpi vtt 1.68 dram and set your ram for 9 9 9 24 then if it's stable play with your ram timings.

You lapped a dud CPU??? I wouldn't lap a great CPU,
like my week 36 that passes Superpi at 4662 Mhz at a mere 1.488 Vcore and on an air cooler. man, what were you thinkin'?

Lol, I was thinking "be cold processor, be cold"

And in all honesty, the HSM was **** from intel, it took FOREVER to get flat copper.

hi there im new to this forums ;]

reading this thread got me curious whether or not my ud4p will achieve 4ghz with my 920. i ran into similar problem like yours. no matter how much voltage i gave my procesor/qpi/vtt/ioh/ich it wouldnt post over 180 bclk. however. since i enjoy tweaking my settings :D i did toy with it for about an hour and got it stable @ 4ghz, 191x21. my problem was with uncore speed. when i tried 16 uncore and 8 ram multi it wouldnt post, same with 12x uncore and 6x ram it wouldnt post also, but after setting uncore to x16 and my ram to x6, i managed to post, after that i restarted and took all the voltages down. right now im stable at 1,25 Vcore, 1,31 qpi/vtt, 1,2 IOH.
i dont know if it ll do the trick for u, but it wont hurt to try ;] good luck
