I purchased one of this kit a month ago and i ran into some problems with overclocking: first i used stock speed 1066 (on gigabyte MB is Latch:333MHz multiplier:2.4B) then when the cpu was overclocked to 467-470 fbs then the memory went up to 1128MHz(470*2.4B) then i tried at stock timming as OCZ advertised 5-5-5-18 @2.24V but it wasen't really stable in prime95 (i mean it can still boot up normally but when u stress it i fails easiy). i also tried 2.66D multiplier which gives me 1253MHz and it gives me the same result(boot up normally but unstable when u stress it) i also tried to loosen up the timming to 6-6-6-(18-20, i tried both) @2.28V and that helps a tiny bit but still unstable. the ocz guy told me to use 360fsb and that puts the memory speed to 1152 as they advertised at 55518(i'll try 15 later) and appearently it becomes stable in prime95
but 3.2ghz for e8400 is too low i wanna to get to 4.4.2ghz. (otherwise i'm wasting my beautiful diy tec cooler) any suggestions?
