Intel 3.16 Core 2 Duo

Memory: Corsair: TWIN2X4096-8500C5D (Newegg.com - CORSAIR DOMINATOR 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory)

I have googled this and seen other endless reboot issues. Want to stick with the board but this is my second, want to know if I should return for another if you are guessing a bad memory channel.

Endless reboot issue only when third channel is used. ANY memory stick that normally runs fine causes board to endless reboot, not even post into screen/bios. Does this sound like a bad channel issue? I can run 6gb fine as long as I avoid 3rd channel, but I want to use the full 8gb I bought for the x64 bit processing windows 7 when it comes out... This is 2nd board, i bought this memory because it is reviewed to work well.

Only other issue I can think of is: memory specs mention 2.1V, it runs at 1.8V on the BIOS and had issue with 2.1V... no stability issues I can tell from it, so I left at 1.8V , timings and speed read fine.
