    Question EP45-DS3L|Q6600|G.Skill Ram - @3.15GHz ... some help plz

    Hi,

basically i just need some Pro to tell me what i should do next.
How far should i go with VCore, what to do with MHC Core?

Some screens what i tested so far and CPU-z should tell you all you want to know about my System (?):

So it seems to be stable with default Vcore (1,325v) @ 3,15GHz
just 1 FSB more and Prime is unstable.

I did boot it with 3400 MHz and 3D Mark 06 did run 'till the end, but prime is completely unstable of course.
With 3450 MHz it still booted but allready crashed in the first bench of 3D Mark...

I increased the VCore like you see in the table above (until 1,425v) but it didnt even make it into windows which i think is a little strange because with 1,325v windows boots fine and with more it crashes

I know i have to do something about the MHC Core but im not sure what.
My last CPU was a AMD S939, never heard of MHC before ^^

Just gimme some short hints plz k thx ^^

Heh well no doesnt tell everything ,all i can say is voltages in my sig(yeh different board).490fsb only needs 2.08v for ram in bios for stability,if thats any help.
McH temps go up 5C or so with cover on.Yeh actual MCH temps, altho the sys ones are very close.

    thx for the reply,

i played arround some more with VCore and MCH Core Voltages today and got it 100MHz higher to 3,2GHz (at least it seems to be stable)

    update:

with 1,450v set in BIOS i get 1,36v "under load"
with 1,475v i get 1,38v (since you have 1,38 noted in your sig i think that is safe ^^) but that does not help me much with 3300MHz

and the question again how far is it *safe* to go up? or where should i stop?

3200MHz - 1,450v (vcore) and 1,3v (mch) seem to work fine
but at 3300MHz - 1,475v (vcore) and 1,4v (mch)... Prime kills 1 core almost at the start... so should i give it more VCore?
