    Default Ud5 northbridge too hot?

According to Everest my northbridge of my ud5 is 54 Celsius (idle to little load) and goes to 60+ when playing games....

Is that normal and if not ... how can I get it lower?

Default Re: Ud5 northbridge too hot?

Does the UD5 have a nb sensor?
UD3 doesnt :( So i had to make/insert my own.
The only thing is the readout it gives is very close to the mbrds system sensor readout so it hasnt been much different..
System temps go from 30C idle to 35C load case cover off.
34C idle to 38C load case cover on.

NB sensor seems to stay within 1-2* of that ,no matter where it is positioned on the heatsink.Ill probably put it back in the little central hole i drilled in the hs,when I get around to taking the board out again.
To physically get it lower without altering settings ,mount a fan blowing on top of it or at an angle to the hs vanes.
