    Default EP45-UD3P V1.1 Q6600 overclocking HELP NEED

    Hello All. This is my first post here and my first time ever over clocking:
    I know this mother board and CPU can be over clocked along with the ram. I just have no clue
    on what I am doing. From some of the treads I have read and worked thru, I have managed to
    clock my system to 3.4MHz and had a stable run thru prime for about 2 hours with out
    errors.I know it's not long, but i run out of time. I also made 10 passes with Intel burn
    in set to max. My system runs around 39c and CPU idles at 26c and load at 46c.
    What I am looking to do is hit at least 3.6MHz to 3.8MHz on air. So far the setting I have
    listed boot and run fine. But when I change anything else in the bios I get the red screen
    of death. And in windows it defaults back to 2.4MHz
    This is my specs: I hope this is all I need.

    That cooler may not be good enough to run 3.6 on a Q6600, normally "IF" your Q6600 will do 3.6 or more Much higher voltages than what is needed for 3.4 will for sure be needed

    Try these settings and see if you can have any better luck with this >>>

    When I mention set to Auto, please do as setting a value is not the same at all

    Thanks for your help Lsdmeasap

    I took your settings and tried all kinds of voltage settings and could not get it stable at 3.6MHz so I am going with 3.4MHz and stick with that for now. As of last night it is still running stable. Maybe I added too much of one and not enough of the other. I did not bring the Vcore to 1.5v as I think that may be too high with the cooler I have. I did have it 1.48750v and it was running 65c.
    At this time I am running 27c on 2 cores and 25c on the other 2 cores at idle and 52c load on 2 cores and 49c on the other 2 cores. I am sure I could go higher with them lower core temps but this should be fine for now. And these are the settings I have at this time.
    Does it look ok?
