    Question Sound issue

i am using the onboard sound on my GIGABYTE-GA-EX58-UD3R mb, in the realtek hd audio manager i run the test speaker test but get sound only from left rear (5.1),i downloaded the realtek updated drivers v6.0.1.5793 and installed them but no change, when playing a game they work just fine, the updated one's are much better.

another problem i had was every time i started the computer it would start for one second, turn off for about three seconds and then start again and then be fine,i downloaded the f5 bios and used Qflash to install it and the problem seem's to be ok now,so if anybody else has the same problem that seems to be the solution.

    this is my system.......

Are you overclocking? If so make sure to manually set the pci bus speed to 100Mhz. I had sound issues before I did that.

Yes, you still should set that now so you do not forget later. In the MIT Section find and set PCI Express Frequency (MHz) to 100

Try these drivers for your sound Version R2.21 >>>
    Realtek

Also be sure you have the latest Intel Chipset Driver installed >>>
    Download Locations

I would suggest you use the latest Beta BIOS to see if the double/triple start issue is fixed for your board yet. I have this issue on my board, still uncorrected, but some models it is fixed in. Here are the latest Beta's >>>
    http://forums.tweaktown.com/f69/giga...st-bios-28441/

And please do read this guide for flashing >>
    http://forums.tweaktown.com/f69/bios...h-guide-27576/

It can be caused by BIOS issues, or incorrect settings as well so can you please give me your BIOS settings you are using so I can look them over to see if anything is obviously wrong >>>

This is Just a template I use to ask people their settings, pay no attention to the numbers in it, replace with yours
