Default Ga ep45-ud3r dual channel issues

I am running a ep45-ud3r with an e7200 c2d with 2x2 gigs of patriot viper 1066.It will not post in dual channel,it will only post and run in the single channel mode.Slots one and two.One and three it just keeps on rebooting.
I know there are some advanced settings that will make this thing run in dual channel. I love this board and it runs faster than my asus micro g31 but I would like to see it run dual channel 1:1.
    Any help would be great.

try slots 2 and 4 or try one stick in slot 1 load and save optimum defaults then insert the other stick in 3 and see if any change.

what rev board do you have ? 1.0 or 1.1 ? also try flash new bios F7 or recenlly new F8.

after you done flash new bios, go into BIOS menu and select load optimzied deafult then save to exit with ONE memory stick at time, then shut it down, add second stick should be slot 1+ slot 3 will do dual channel.

if no help at all, you might have bad batches motherboard, take it back for replacement if you can.
