Ok accepting the differences in my system and that maybe you might need to run a 7 multiplier for testing.Run OCCT first it seems to stress things in a shorter time.. 30-60 min,If it works ok u can prime away for hrs after that.
Id did testing cover off. I do it all cover on now.
If your room temp goes above 25degrees C (even with water on the cpu) these settings may not work.

ok, got it 490 stable in prime at the following settings
    - mch core is a bit high, but i tried upping vcore and vtt and lowering mch core, but that didnt work

now, lets see if i can get 500mhz.
    - any setting i do at 500, it freezes
    - i've tried upping everything except mhc core
    - i've also played around the skews but that makes everything unstable

    any ideas for 500mhz?

My ref voltages for 500 are similar to what you have now.Pll is a little higher.

Im happy enough running 500 fsb with the cpu running 1.38-1.39v in test measurement. The memory running 2.19v in test measurement and mch at 1.42.
My bios entered voltages are higher for the cpu and memory. Not a whole lot but a little.
The vdroop/vdrop I/you get may also be slightly psu dependent as well.
The items may only last 2-3 years instead of say 5 but by then ,there may not be any posts about socket 775 to read

If you check out things like :
    http://www.ripping.org/database.php?cpuid=783

    and

    http://www.ripping.org/database.php?cpuid=853

What does this show, Discount the first 10-15, suicide jockeys.
If you get a 50% overclock and it seems good and doesnt crash, great.
I dont have any real interest in going for 3.6 to get in the world air record database, its possible sure >

The board seems good,Hey I have an extra ounce of copper :0..and since i dont think anything is gonna blow up anytime soon Im good.
