Default BIOS GA-G31-S2L error after overclocking

Hello everyone, recently im having trouble with my BIOS.

All problem begins when i tried to overclock my procie E2180 @2 Ghz. at the beginning the system was stable untill i turn it into 2,75 Ghz. The problem occurs when im using benchmark the last remnant to overview how strong my pc can play this game.

In the middle of the test, the system crash, turn into blue screen with many message which i can remember only driver error,etc....
(as far as i know, the driver should not be the problem. coz all the game worked fine before this test)

I restart my pc, and it cannot past the POST with 2x long beep and crash after that. In panic, i switch off, unplug all the cable, and i tried clear CMOS with remove the battery and short the jumper about 15 minutes.

I replaced the batt and turn it on again, but it still having 2xlong beep and cannot past the POST and the monitor black out.

After that, i tried switch the memory from slot 2 to slot 1 and remove the batt again and not replaced. i turn it on again, it can boot up, still with 2x long beep and a short beep as success cmos.

Now i put my battery back, but every time i turn on my pc, it always have 2x long beep and a short beep than work normally in windows.
Please help me with this problem, why it always beeping like that ?? how to make it normal ??

Also if i want to change anything in MIT (BIOS menu) such as cpu clock ratio and the others, it will have my comp crash after quit & save...

Your help will be very appreciated...

the bios is AWARD i think. I also suspect the trouble maybe from the memory.. but can that happen only because i overclock my procie ? When i OC, i already set my system speed multipier 2.66. With clock speed 2.75 Ghz, dram freq run at 731 Mhz which mean not over pass the standard bandwith of my RAM PC6400 (800Mhz) right ?
correct me if im wrong.. coz im really still inexpererience with this thing...

If it is true the problem is RAM, why the BIOS can't accept any changes in overclocking purpose without hang ?

Please give me the Full settings you are using, and let me know also what BIOS version you are using >>>

G31 is not a very good overclocking board, but you should at least be able to a little bit.

Can you please record this error beep and upload it and post it here so I can hear it?

Normally though, any Other code then what is listed in the manual is a Memory issue, that could be settings, voltages, or damaged Memory. Did you test this ram with Memtest86+ when you first received it? If not, it could have been faulty the whole time you have had it. How long have you been using it anyway? Can yuo borrow another stick of DDR2 to test your board with, to see if the error beep goes away?

This is Just a template I use to ask people their settings, pay no attention to the numbers in it, replace with yours

Thank you for your reply Lsdmeasap.

    My bios version is F4.

I haven't run memtest86+ for my memory when i first received... actually, i just know there is memory testing software in this forum when you suggest it :).

This PC, i used only for 7 months untill now (including the RAM)...

Since my PC, taken away by my cousin yesterday i will updated your template soon after he return it back to me along with recording beep sound of it...

for your info, i already test it with another RAM of my friend, and still the beeps won't get away...
