Default EP45-UD3P Memory Errors in Dual Channel GSKill 8500CL6

Hey guys I have been trying to tweak my PC for weeks. I was not able to encode videos. PC would reboot about 15 minutes into it @ stock speeds.

I have a EP45-UD3P and 2GxG Skill F2-8500CL6-2GBNQ sticks of memory, Q6600 revision G0. I figured it was my memory as CPU heat and util were ok.

I ran memtest 86+ and sure enough got a ton of errors. Figured it was my memory, had them in slots 1 and 3. So I tried mem test with just one stick in slot 1 ran good, tried the other stick in just slot 3 ran ok. So next I ran both
in slot 1 and 2, ran ok. Slot 2 and 4 errors.

So it seems when I run in dual channel mode I get memory errors. When
I am in single mode I can encode with out an issue.

Any ideas what could be causing this?
Was attempting to over clock but am now a stock until I figure this out.
Any of you guys have any suggest what could be causing this?

    Thanks,
    James

The usual culprit bios related. How many different stress test programs did you run (and which ones) with your current setup? How long did you run each test?

We can't really help you until you list your hardware specs, bios version, and a list of current bios settings. See this post for the generic bios template and additional required info.

See if you can borrow some similar memory to test memory slots 2 & 4 and hopefully rule out your mobo as a problem.

Memtest86+ is a great program for preliminary testing. I've run Memtest86+ for 2 - 20+ hours error free, only to have Prime95, OCCT, or Orthos generate errors, sometimes in under 1 hour, more often within 4 - 10 hours.

Yea I RMA my memory they sent back 4GBNQ revision and memory test are good now. Either bad sticks or the MB doesn't like that previous revision.
