Default EX58-UD4P stability problems cant install Vista

Hello my vista x64 install is going poorly. I have random install errors at completely random install percentages.

    I am using a seagate cuda v12 500gb hdd and 6 gb g.skill ram.

I initially thought i had a bad cd so i tried another one - no change

Ran memory test with no errors,

Now at this point i installed 2 other known good hdd's & sata cables no change.

I tried a clean install on 5 sata ports - no change

Finally over the weekend ran a stress test, it gave me a hdd error. So I
again swapped to another hdd ran stress test again and it gave me another hdd error on my known good hdd.

I am starting to wonder if i have a bad mobo ?

Have you changed any BIOS settings? Clear CMOS and try to install again.

This might be a abd board, but it's best to cheack a few things first.

PS: Is the board completely new or are you just re-isntalling Windows?
