    Default Gigabyte boards with Soundmax?

Wondering if there are any gigabyte boards with soundmax integrated audio. AM2 or Core 2 capable. Imo, soundmax is some nice sounding integrated stuff.

Afaik GB only uses the Realtek 888 or 889, no soundmax on the Intel boards at least. The 889 especially is considered a very good audio chip by reviewers though.
If you really worry about audio quality get an extra sound card though.

I'm using an Asus P5Q-E right now and honestly I can't tell the difference between Soundmax and Realtek ( I like the Realtek software better though). Unless you need a specific feature that only Soundmax has I wouldn't worry about which chip the board uses.
