    Question EP45-UD3R LED Question

When I turn on my new build, the leds on the motherboard light up all the way to the top. They stay that way untill I leave the CMOS Setup Utility. Once it boots into windows, the lights off. Is that normal or does it indicate some sort of power problem? I can't tell what color the lights are, they all look the same to me. They are very bright and all of them are lit.

Also, the owners manuel for my board instructs me to press ctrl + F1 to access advanced advanced options in a main menue or sub menue. Nothing happens when I use this key combination. Can anyone tell me why this might be?

    Thanks for your reply!

Ctrl + F1 is not necessary for this board, all the options show up by default anyway.

The LEDs show how many phases are active from the CPU power circuitry, it does not show error codes and it's there jsut for the looks, don't worry about what it shows.

Thanks for the reply. I was hoping to hear good news. This is my first build and I think it went pretty good. I want to make sure there are no problems before I go any further. I have another thread. If you get a chance, please read it and tell me what you think. Thanks again!
