    Default Help OC for ga-ep45-ud3p & q6600

Hi, can someone please help me with my memory settings. I can't seem to get the system stabilized for more than 30mins on p95 blend test. IBT runs 25 passes fine so I'm pretty sure it's a memory problem rather than the cpu. Here are my settings so far:

The memory is 2GB patriot ddr2 1066MHz. In case you're wondering, I'm running them at 800MHz because I can't get the OS to boot at 1066 (not sure how to set the memory timings and auto settings aren't working).

    Can you get 3.6 stable?
3.8 may not be obtainable (stable), just depends on the chip sometimes.

3.8 GHz is hard to do with air coolers. Go for 3.6GHz first and then try to go higher.
Also, do you have loadline calibration enabled? If no then 1.45V is definitely not enough for 3.8GHz, and if yes it may still not be enough.
What cooler are you using and what are your temps?

Thanks for the replies. I believe 3.8ghz is stable because I originally had the system running stable on an Asus p5b-deluxe, but switched over to the ep45 because my asus board has a pci-express 1x bug.

Coincidentally, I ran stress tests using the ep45 board and eventually reached the exact same vcore (where the system is stable @ 3.8) as my old motherboard which is 1.450 v. This leads me to believe it must be something wrong with my memory settings.

I am using custom water cooling and temps during prime typically don't break 60. IBT might hit 70 - 75, but I understand IBT pushes the temps way further than p95. I can test the system at 3.6 later, but i'm still unsure of what to set for the memory timings. Oh, and yes LLC is enabled. Let me know if you guys see anything else wrong. Thanks!

Thanks for the help again. I think I figured it out, not enough vcore like you guys suggested. I forgot that I did a pencil mod on my old asus board to eliminate vdroop entirely. After taking into account the vdroop, I was able to make the system stable again.
