    Default Gigabyte EP45DS4 + E8300 overclock help

Hi guys, i'm new from this forum, i have a problem with this mobo, i don't know why but i can't overclock really hard my cpu. I tried to set the the highest fsb and it is like 450.. the ram frequency is 450mhzx2 (900).. but they are 2x2gb Xtreem Dark DDR2 1066mhz. Can you help me in overclocking my pc? Temperatures are good, cpu is 20-25C idle/full stress and its core are between 32-37C @ 3200mhz (427x7.5) (alu is an arkangel 850watt). My problem is that i don't know how to set the voltage like mch, ich etc.. they are really many, and i come from an amd pc (overclocked from 2000mhz to 2730mhz)
Edit: the temperatures are in overclock mode, this is my actual overclock:

Write down your current bios settings.
Follow the instructions in this post.
When you re-enter the bios, apply your overclock settings.
Post a new screen shot showing:
    cpu-z main screen
Memset with SPD and ">>" tabs displayed
EasyTune with --> Tuner panel --> Advance panel --> Voltages

Include your bios settings using the generic bios template.

We can't help you if we don't know your full hardware setup and (partial) bios settings.
Look closely at the template, most of the info is from the M.I.T section, NOT your complete settings from every bios panel.

What version of Memset are you trying to run?
Don't forget to include an external link to your ram's specs.

    E8300 @ 3200mhz (430x7.5), Gigabyte Ep45-Ds4, Team Group Xtreem Dark 4gb 1066mhz ddr2, Sapphire Hd4870 512mb Gddr5 @ 790mhz/4400mhz, samsung 320gb sata2 + seagete 160gb sata2, Lc power arkangel 850watt, Aplus Twin Engine Tower

    Ram Link: Team Group Inc
(later i post all the mti detail of the actual bios configuration, i'm going to bed now, in italy it's 1.30am)

Edit: ok now i have the 4.0 version of memset and it works, these are my actual settings, can i change the command rate into 1t? in my old pc (amd) i could change it from bios, here with this pc no, anyway i'm going to do screenshot of that settings you need from bios, then report it here

It says PC-6400 but they are Pc-8500 infact they are 1066mhz ram, but the thing is that i can't even make the ram go at their default speed, not with higher fsb nor with different fsb/ram ratio
And these are my actual bios settings: http://img19.imageshack.us/gal.php?g=26042009061.jpg

1T cmd is unlikely to work,I think its like overclocking the memory at its standard speed.
Ive been testing out for 9G/s bandwidth.Different board but at least its p45 and cpu is close.

My ram voltage says 2.2-2.3v but my motherboard says it's dangerous, i mean it shows red voltage over 2.1v (anyway nothing happened, they didn't damaged of course), i'll try these settings in a few hours, thanks a lot for the patience

1T command rate does not work in P45 boards, none of them.

The link you posted above shows me 2.1-2.1V, not 2.3V. Where are you seeing 2.3V? Even if it is rated to 2.3V, that would only be the max allowed under warranty, for sure though NOT what you need to run stable at stock speeds

I do suggest you update your BIOS, you are using a older BIOS and that may be part of your issues. DO NOT use @BIOS, please use Qflash here is a guide >>>
    http://forums.tweaktown.com/f69/bios...h-guide-27576/

And here is your boards BIOS download page >>
    GIGABYTE - Support&Download - Motherboard - BIOS - GA-EP45-DS4 (rev. 1.0)

Be sure you load optimized and save/apply after you flash, before you start setting things again. Please read the guide if you are unsure about anything to do with flashing, and be SURE to read it if you are using RAID

I can give you a full list of settings for your setup like Kick did above, if you would like them let me know what speed you want to try to run your CPU at and I will give you some settings

Here it is where i found 2.2-2.3v (this is my ram box)

By the way i already done the bios update but don't remember why i returned to the old one (yes i did with floppy the flash bios), i'll do it again now. If you want to help me in overclocking that would be great, because i'm really sad to think that i have 1066mhz ram and can't use them at that frequency (cpu from 2830mhz is overclocked to 3300mhz without overvolt, even with one step lower of voltage)
