    Thumbs down Too many problems with the EX58-Extreme, Help

    I've had it, this more than I can bare!

    I've changed the motherboard,PSU and graphics card and still have this problem YouTube - GA EX58-Extreme boot issue

    It happens randomly when I turn off the computer and then try to turn it on!
    It won't boot at all unless I unplug PSU out of power outlet!!!

    This is my 2nd Mobo and still I suffer, I tried one stick of RAM (I have 3x2GB OCZ 1600MHz DDR3 intel Extreme edition) and still no go!

    I've been building PCs since God knows when, and I've never had so much troubles with a product like this motherboard!!!

    Can any one please help me !!!

    Sorry man, I am very far behind and when you bump your threads it goes to the front of the list (Page one) and I start with Zero replies and at the backend of new posts each night when I get in.

    I was about to reply to you at XS but I saw you had made a post here so I will try to help you here

    Can you borrow any other memory to test with? Or can you pickup a cheap set of 2x1?

    I could not tell much from your video, aside from your frustration. Sorry!!!

    Can you please explain in full detail the problem, when and how it happens, ect.

    Also let me know what BIOS you are using and give me your Full BIOS settings and specs >>>

    Let me give you a scenario of a daily activity with my PC:<o:p></o:p>
    Letís say Iím inside windows minding my own business, watching a movie, playing a game or browsing the internet, and then I decided to turn off the PC and I do.<o:p></o:p>
    Then I want to turn the PC on seconds from turning it offÖ.. as I press the power button, the PC will power on for a split of a second then wonít boot as you see from the clip I posted in my first post above.<o:p></o:p>
    It will not turn on unless I do one of the following :<o:p></o:p>
    1- Keep pressing the power button for 10 seconds then press it again ( doesnít always work )<o:p></o:p>
    2- Removing the power cable out of the PSU for 2 to 5 min. ( works always )<o:p></o:p>
    I changed the mobo 2 times, switched the PSU from 1200w to 1500w thermaltake tough power and didnít work, changed the Graphics card and still no luck.<o:p></o:p>
    My RAM is OCZ intel extreme edition passed 24 hours of memtest, I for got to tell toy that one day I removed the RAM out of the mobo and tried to boot but it didnít boot at all showing me the same booting issue!<o:p></o:p>

    Yes, I have seen the ThermalTake posts at a few forums, so it very well could be? I cannot advise based on that alone, but if you have spare cash you may want to try another brand

    I do also see this post at XS right before your last, sounds like your power switch issue may just be a BIOS Glitch as you are not alone? Maybe try a older BIOS for now and see if the issue is the same, or a newer beta if you are not using one already.
