Ok.... on that last reboot, I got this message with windows.

I also got a windows error message that i sent off and it came back saying that the error was due to a problem in ram.

I have changed the MCH core to 1.26.

How do I adjust the timings? Is that just the timing controls in the bios?(the 9 9 9 24 numbers)

I placed the 2 sticks of ram back in and it booted fine. What do you recommend to change the timings to?

I havent changed changed any timings as yet, but I increased the voltage on the MCH to 1.26, and also increased the Vtt to 1.24, and it seems ok. What do you reccommend changing the timings to ?

Please post your full settings you are using and I will advise. Sorry for the late reply I was offsite for a few days again and when you bumped your post yesterday it went to the back of my replies as I start at the back of new posts each night.

So please give me your full settings, and how things are failing for you and I will advise back

You may just need to use a higher or lower FSB so you can use a different ram multi/strap. Did you ever test 3.33D? Just wondering

See if these voltage settings help any with the settings you have now, if not adjust your Memory multi to 2.40B for now or see if you can use 3.33D

Also can you link me to your ram, sorry I cannot find that model # anywhere from your images on page one

    CPU Termination…..... 1.200V*.......: Set 1.225-1.34
    CPU PLL…………………....1.500V*.......:AUTO

    CPU Referen.…………....0.760V*.......: Auto

    MCH Core…………….....1.100V...........: << Set 1.2-1.35
    MCH Reference….……. 0.760V...........; Auto
    DRAM Ref.…..............0.750V...........: Auto
    ICH I/O……………….......1.500V............ << Set 1.55
    ICH Core…………...……..1.100V............: << Set 1.14-1.2

    DRAM
DRAM Voltage ……....1.600............: << Set 1.65 for now. Once you link me to your ram I can advise more about this but even if your ram is 1.5-1.6 it will be ok to use 1.65

    Link to Ram....

    DDR3

I will try the new settings you mention with the 4th stick back in the pc.I still havn't been able to put the 4th stick of Ram back in without the pc not booting up. At the moment the pc is running in 3x1gb.

Do you have any ides what that memory error message means at the top of page 2 in my post? It hasn't done that for a few days now though.

    Thanks again

    Regards

    Craig

How is the testing coming along?

The error above could be anything, incorrect ram settings or faulty timings, ect. Are you running low on hard drive space? What do you have your page file set to?
