I can get hold of a depleated Uranium cooling rod... that might help...... Kidding

I'm confident you have the knowledge to get it to boot if it's possible. I have noticed though that you still have CPU Term on 1.200V. This is good that you've got that far with it on default, but you may need to try raising it. Use al combinations up to 1.4V then try lowering MCH Ref to 0.720 @ 1.2VTT and try 1.22-1.4VTT again.

    Good luck!

I know i have a quad so it might be different but my cpu doesn't like more then 1.36V FSB and less the 1.3V for 500+ FSB. And i tried right up to 1.45V. It takes time but you start to see what your cpu does and doesn't like

    Great work so far

I agree. Usually at least a small bump in VTT is needed, but how much depends on the CPU, the Vcore used and the GTL Refs (CPU and MCH) used.

Increasing tRD (Static tRead Value) is probably needed above the 510MHz range.
D-an-W has been using tRD = 9 for quite a while.
It will be interesting to see what the 520/1040 cpu/memory speeds will do to the Everest memory/cache benchmarks with looser memory settings.

Tried a few suggestions last night without any success, I will have more time over the weekend to test further.

It's quite frustrating but I remember once not being able to boot at 450FSB

Try more vcore. It seems like when i use 1:1 strap i have to give cpu a little more vcore to stabilize.
It helped me do the following

All efforts failing so far, I hit a similar wall at 480FSB but MCH Core sorted that one out and has been the key to getting 510FSB stable.

The best I can get to pass IBT so far is 513FSB, have any other E8400 owners come across a similar issue?

As FSB goes up, MCH Core needs to rise. At some point, for me, though, some where around 505FSB, MCH Ref needs to lower a tic as MCH Core goes up.

As CPU Multi goes up, vCore needs to rise. As vCore rises, vTerm needs to rise with it, but not at the same rate. As vTerm rises, MCH Ref rises...

It seems like I get my stability when there is a harmony involving vTerm and MCH Ref. I find stability when MCH Ref stays near or under .808v, in relationship to vTerm.

Can't stress how important this THREAD is.

    Progress @ 520FSB x8!

Working backwards using a 500x9 template I have tested, 20x trials of IBT have just completed without error (Will post template shortly)...

I guess it's going to take more than a lift in MCH Core to sort this one
Try the skew! Our motherboard is not limited to a mere 510 FSB.. people get to 600FSB on it.

Try like a 250-400 cpu skew. I think the CPU skew is for FSB overclocks, and the MCH skew is for massive CPU overclocks, from what I am reading.

**EDIT** I was wrong.. I am using a CPU skew of 350 and a MCH skew of 200 for a 515FSB x8 = 4.12Ghz. The CPU skew is for CPU increases and MCH is for FSB increases.
    ** EDIT**

I've been away for a week on work.. so I've good no updates of my own.
