    Regarding the weird cold-boot problems back on page 42 - It's rearing it's ugly head yet again and I'm not amused. Leaving my rig on for 24/7 when I use it at most 2-3 hours a day (weekdays) doesn't sit well with me. Last night it took me a good 10 minutes just to get booted into my proven-stable (for 2 weeks now) 534x7.5. Other nights it will take 3-4 auto-reboots or whatever you want to call the dual-BIOS feature. It acts as if my OC is too much and keeps rebooting itself when I know my OC is sufficiently stable now. Other times I'll get the "loading image off of hard drive" or similar message.

    Psycho, we have the same PS - do you have to wait for a full 30 seconds after first turning on the power and switching your PS off for it to boot successfully? Waiting 2 mins is better than 10.

    I've noticed that since I started switching off at the wall again, a few days ago it now just double boots, rather than loops. When it did loop, switching the PSU off at the back, then holding the power button for ~20 seconds caused a double boot, but a successful one.

    Sounds like stability is close D-an-W.

    Good, I hope it's fixed as it could potentially be a big issue for me since I shut-down every night.

    @D-an-W
    Yeah, I'll take some pics of my rig when I get home and post for you. It's not fancy or anything. Since I have the Top Deck Station, my mobo is horizontal (or parallel to the desk/ground) so it's not in a traditional vertical case. Depending on your case (like my old Antec and Lian Li) it has a side-fan that gave the NB adequate airflow. An Antec spotfan is a nice go-anywhere fan or if you're cheap like me, you'll grab some sturdy wire and hang a 120mm from some hard-point in your case.

    I have both an Antec Spot cooler and a Zalman FB123 (which is discontinued now but some places may still have some in stock). I like the Zalman better and I installed it to cool the nb and memory modules on the 4.005ghz machine after I ripped off the nb cover plate. Instead of fastening it to the pci/pci-e expansion screws, mounted it on the hd rack of my antec 900. I recall somebody on this forum (not sure if it was kick or not) who used flat brackets to custom mount an 120mm fan to cool their nb and memory sticks.

    Like I said, nothing too crazy. I use whatever is simple and effective. You can see I used a 6" black wire I had laying around to act as a third "leg" for the top 120mm fan. Just needed a little extra stability but it works great resting on my video card.
