I'd rather stick my dick in an electricity socket :P

So does FSB have any impact on CPU stability or is it only about resulting frequency?

Yes, FSB has a huge impact on stability as many factors affect/are affected by it

What on earth happens at 6hrs into Prime Blend thats different to the previous 5hrs?

It's the third time 510x8.5 has failed on me now (With adjustments each time of course)...

Screw blend and try my custom test!

The stress-test in Prime can be configured to better test various components of the computer by changing the fast fourier transform (FFT) size. Three pre-set configurations are available: Small FFTs, In-Place FFTs, and Blend. Small and In-Place modes primarily test the FPU and the caches of the CPU, whereas the Blend mode tests everything, including the memory.
By selecting Custom, the user can gain further control of the configuration. For example, by selecting 8-8KB as the FFT size, the program stresses primarily the CPU. By selecting 2048-4096KB and unchecking the "Run FFTs in-place" checkbox, providing the maximum amount of RAM free in the system, the program tests the memory and the chipset.

Read this: Torture test your CPU with Prime95

VERY nice reading about the tests.

    OK BABY I DID IT!!!

    [Aug 24 13:03] Torture Test completed 1085 tests in 25 hours, 21 minutes - 0 errors, 0 warnings.
    [Aug 24 13:03] Worker stopped.

Time to stress the CPU now.

Note: for safety reason I had VDIMM raised to 2.2V, trying with 2.1 now, and Small FFTs.

    The stable FSB setup:

Very interesting, tRD = 10 and using the 2.00B memory multiplier.
Shouldn't the memory frequency read 1080MHz with your 540MHz FSB?
How about posting a screen-shot using:
    cpu-z
Memset using the SPD and ">>" tabs
ET6 --> TUNER tab --> ADVANCE tab --> VOLTAGE tab

    Keep on tweaking!

Well I obviously forgot to edit everything :P
    edit:
What do you find interesting about this combination? I must say I can't get D strap to work no matter what voodoo I do (or what toad I lick).

    edit2: here we go

And for some unknown reason, both MemSet and CPU-Z fail to report memory frequency...

First I've seen using the "B" multiplier at mid 500MHz settings.
Have you tried using Driving Strenght = OC-1200?

I disagree, this is a must read!!

Neither MemSet 4.1 beta nor the 4.0 versions report my ram clock, 2xCorsair CM2X1024-6400C4, CPU-Z(1.52.1) reports the clock just fine.
