Staying under the table is not a help, rather a distraction!
Only acceptable if she gives REALLY good head.

    Sounds very distracting to me

But when things come to that there isn't much to do other than be distracted

Bloody hell, Prime keeps on failing after 8-12 hours. Grr.
I gotta test whole range of 2.1-2.2 VDIMM and both driving strength profiles :(

I decided to test some x9 action. Started at 470(ish) and will see if I can finally get my 500x9 profile stable.

So you are after raw CPU speed? I chose FSB over everything :)

Not settled on anything really, just testing all possibilites.
I might need to move off a 1:1 ratio so I can squeeze the best out of both but to be honest I have never tried any others...

    PJ where are you!!!

    PJ where are you!!!
    Lurking in the weeds.
My system suddenly shut down and my mobo won't power up. If I jumper the 24-pin connector, the mobo lights up normally but won't boot. RMA is a last resort. I need to try blind flashing my mobo and maybe the bios chip boot trick.

Several months ago, my system was stable when running:
    7 x 459MHz cpu [3.21GHz] with 459 x 2.40B = 1102MHz memory speeds
Overall system performance was inferior to my 7 x 492 setup using 1:1 FSB/Dram with slightly tighter primary memory timings.

With my 2x2GB memory, I couldn't use the 2.40B memory multiplier with 460MHz or higher settings.
A bit later, I switched to my older 2x1GB Ballistix (2.2 volt) PC2-6400 memory. I was able to test with 7 x 492MHz and 492 x 2.40B = 1181MHz memory @ 5-5-5-15. This setup passed Memtest86+ testing for one pass and Prime95 (3 tests) were OK with each test limited to several hours. I found that running with 2x1GB, overall performance was inferior to the 7 x 492 setup, even with running a 32-bit operating system (w2k pro, sp4).

Keep in mind that my older C2D E6550 results might not apply to newer chips with higher multipliers and more cache.

    re: Driving Strength
This setting seems to help with stability issues, and is not a performance tuning tweak. I use this setting one step "higher" than the actual memory speed setting.
For example, OC-1200 with my 1181MHz memory speed was stable. It's possible that the 1066 setting might have been stable at this speed.

    TY Good Sir

Oddly enough, I just moved to OC-1200 to see if it makes 480x9 stable (Prior to reading this).

It will be interesting to see how your system temperatures and Everest benchmarks compare with your settings where you used higher FSB and lower cpu multipliers.

    Inquiring minds want to know.
