    Maybe Lsdmeasap will be able to explain them.

    I'm not sure if I've tightened those settings or not, as rather than trying to convert Memset terms to BIOS designations, I just tughtened settings in the BIOS one by one. If I became unstable, I just changed them back up again.

    It's best to use Memset only to test tRead values. The lowest setting that doesn't cause a hard lock is usually stable, and you should be able to boot off it. It's not always the case though, so you should set one timing at a time. That way you should be able to tell which timing caused the problem, and loosen it again.

    I would guess that tRead=10 should be stable for you, maybe even tRead=9. Also (seperately) try tRFC =62, maybe even 58.

    tRas =15 should not be a problem, it's at 16 at the minute. Not much of a performance gain there, but no harm having it lower.

    Then I stopped trying as I realized that I had not followed the rules well.. haha. So, I will start again tomorrow.

    I think more Vtt and less MCH is needed, 1.3 is a lot for the MCH and is not needed for 500 FSB but then again with 8GB you may need more which would be pushing the ICH to hard. So with that in mind you may want to use only 4GB or not run 500 FSB

    About the BIOS settings you asked vs Memset

    All Precharge to Activate = Not in your BIOS/Auto
    Write to Precharge Delayed = tWR (Write to Precharge Delayed/P35)
    All Precharge to Refresh Delay = Not in your BIOS/Auto

    Remember that a chip will more likely than not require more voltage to run stable on a reduced multi with a high FSB than at max multi with a lower FSB (given the same over all CPU frequency).
