    Default P45-ud3l questions

    Just would like to know about my settings below ,maybe I have something I should have enabled or vice versa.
    I have just recently switched from a asrock budget board.

    My memory is Gskill pc2-8000 ddr2-1000 5-5-5-15 2.0 2.1v
    Headings with *** have not been touched and are bios readings in blue.

    Did you load OPTIMIZED bios settings before you made any bios changes?

    Check this post for recommended basic settings.
    Please follow the directions for listing your hardware components in your forum signature.

    Include a screenshot that includes:
    Memset using the SPD and ">>" tabs
    cpu-z main screen
    EasyTune6 --> TUNER tab --> ADVANCE tab --> VOLTAGE tab

    With your system using stock settings, there are some memory timing settings that will improve system performance.

    Thks for reply I did a load optimize settings after I did a bios update to F4 .
    I am running 273 fsb ,core speed 3.412 mhz which is stable under OCCT and 10 hours of Prime95.
    Settings in first template have changed a bit but basically the same except for fsb core speeed , cpu voltage ,and memory is at 910.
    You see these changes in screen captures.

    You haven't made any of the "required" basic settings that I linked to in post #3. Leaving some voltage settings on AUTO will result in some settings that are too high.

    For better memory performance, change the following:

    You will need to perform stability/stress testing after each set of changes.

    1st set of changes: change all that say "do first". Then test for stability.

    2nd set of changes: set all of the Advanced Timing Control to the highest settings. Stress test for stability. Then lower one at a time and repeat stress tests.

    Here are my new settings , I am stable with these settings from doing 14 hours of Prime 95 , 1 hour of OCCT , and 2 hours of ram testing.
    Any other values to change to go further?
    What about my MCH Freq Latch and my System memory multiplier?
    Oh ya should I keep vcore voltage at what I have now?

    You're making it much harder for us by not listing your hardware setup in your forum signature. This is the info from the link in post #3 you need to provide:

    1) List your system components in your signature.
    --> User CP tab (upper left corner of web page)
    --> select Edit Signature
    --> enter your hardware components (brand, model, etc.)
    --> include your bios version
    --> preview
    --> Save when complete

    2) Link to your ram's full specifications.

    Your cpu voltage is within specs.

    What are your overclocking goals?
    Stability and maximum performance at your current level?
    Higher overclock for maximum system performance?
    Are you gaming? Encoding? Any other applications that require more performance?
