Default EP43-UD3L and OCZ PC2-8500 incompatibilty?

Recently bought these two products, see links for details.

    OCZ PC2-8500 1066mhz

The motherboard is rev 1.0 and running BIOS F3. The sticker on the side of the ram says PC2-8500 1066mhz. Below are some pics of the motherboard recognizing the memory as 800mhz. Am I missing something? I don't see that there is a BIOS update that would resolve this for my board. Is the only option buying a different set of RAM? How do I know which PC2-8500's are compatible?

edit: Nevermind, found the memory support list on the gigabyte site. Damn it.

Thanks in advance for any help/advice on this.

Setting 800mhz sa default happens with all memory, that I have seen. Set mem frq manually.
