the voltage settings went just fine, but the memory adjustments caused the system to not post.

The first thing to do is test your new memory with Memtest86+ for 6 - 10 or more full passes.
I suggest testing at stock system speeds.

    With 8 x 266MHz, set:
    CPU Host Frequency = 266MHz
    System Memory Multiplier = 4.00A
Manually set the primary timings to 5-5-5-15.

Your memory is rated at 2.30 volts max. Set the dram voltage to 2.10 or 2.20 volts.

MCH Core = 1.24 will probably work, more might be needed.

Did you buy one 2x2GB kit or two kits?
If yes, MCH Core = 1.28 (or more) should work.

    With 8 x 400MHz, set:
    CPU Host Frequency = 400MHz
    System Memory Multiplier = 2.66D

What was the highest stable overclock you've had with your old memory?

The highest overclock Ive gotten so far was 3.2ghz with a 1 to 1 ratio.
I've noticed since the last settings update my temps have gone up on the CPU reaching 54c under a decent load.

Im also seeing with the new memory and the same settings Im not very stable.
    I bought two 2x2 kits.

Ill perform the test and get back with you.

I was about to post and I saw your results. With 3.0 x 266 your memory is running at 800MHz. Verify with Memtest86+ that your system is stable at these speeds, it should be. Next step is to try the 312MHz test detailed below. If you want to cheat a bit, do the memory test after you've applied the 312MHz settings.
    =========
With 4x2GB of ram, set the dram voltage to its max 2.30 volt rating.

Many manufacturers state that their 1066 memory speeds are not guaranteed for 2x2GB modules when running 8GB (or more) memory.
If your memory won't run at 1066 speeds at stock settings, try:
    CPU Host Frequency = 312MHz
    System Memory Multiplier = 3.20B for 3.2 x 312 = 998MHz memory speeds.

We need to find the maximum speed for your memory. For every 5MHz increase in cpu frequency, this will increase the memory speed by 16MHz (5 x 3.20).
Testing with 317MHz (cpu) will run your memory at 1014MHz.
Continue testing until you find the limits of your ram.
