ok so i tried the same cpu vcore but raised the cpu term. to 1.4 and mch vcore to 1.26 and put ich i/o to auto and kept ram voltage at 2.1

can get into windows but get a different bsod during prime 95 small ftt

    something wrong with my harddrive?!

EDIT: ran chkdsk no problems, ran the WD extended diagnostic hard drive test, Passed. so it doesn't mean its gonna die on me right?

Your hard disk is probably OK, I've seen error messages where NTOSKRNL might be corrupt when my bios settings weren't correct. Dropping back to a known stable setup proved that there weren't any problems.

If you're using the 2.66D memory multiplier, this could be part of the problem. Try using the 2.00B or 2.00D multipliers to eliminate your memory as a possible problem.

You're trying to jump to 3.60GHz in one big step. You'll be better off if you can get your system stable at 3.40GHz and then move up in smaller steps.
At 3.40GHz, you have several options:
    9 x 378, memory = 2.40B x 378 = 907MHz
    9 x 378, memory = 2.66D x 378 = 1008MHz (the D-strap might not work well below 400MHz)
    8 x 425, memory = 2.40B x 425 = 1020MHz (this might not work with a 266MHz based processor)

Another approach would be to start with 8 x 400MHz and see how far you can go with 10MHz increases.

EDIT: ok so i tried with these settings
cpu vcore 1.493 something(just one under 1.5) 1.44 in windows
cpu termination 1.44(is that too high)

Have you tried enabling Load Line Calibration? Set Vcore back down to 1.45V and try a prime run with this enabled.

It's still worth trying. You don't know if you don't try and it will do no harm.

And you defiantly need to lower CPU termination to 1.4-1.42 IMO. VTT is important in its own right but it must also be slightly lower than Vcore. I would lower this without even trying LLC. You may even be ok at 1.38V. More is not always better.

If you are trying to load 3.6Ghz on a Q6600 you may need more Vtt actually, maybe 1.45-1.5

Well that all depends on your temps, but yes 65NM Cpu's need and can handle far more Vtt than 45NM ones can. If your temps are good the CPU will outlast your desire to own it really.

3.6 is pretty tough on a Q6600 not all will do it for sure. Please post for me the furthest stable settings you have as of now and I will try to see if I can advise you back somethings to try
