    That sounds sweet to me.

If you'd like to move on and clock higher, I'd suggest a smaller jump from now on. Things got tough for me trying to get past 3.2GHz, however I might just have a rubbish Q8200.

Would you be able to check the revision (stepping of your chip? Using CPU-Z look at the main window. I've included a photo of mine so you know where to look. On mine, M1 is actually the stepping but for some reason CPU-Z refers to it as the revision, and to the stepping as "7".

I'm going to suggest you increase the Vcore by a little, but I'm being conservative. This one may well fail, as my CPU went from a modest 1.2750V at 3.22GHz to needing 1.3625V at 3.4GHz. Lets hope yours is less thirsty. Temps are better than mine too so that could help.

Small bumps to Vcore, CPU Termination and PLL may be needed if this fails. Also MCH Core could need a voltage bump, but only if all else fails.

Let us know how this one goes. Also I'd be really interested in thet stepping info.

i think im gonna leave it at 3.2Ghz for now. Im actually going overseas later this afternoon, so i dont want to mess with anything before i go. Ill actually be in London at about 6:30am your time...i guess tomorrow morning it would be. I have a 3 hour layover in London, then ill be heading to Vienna Austria for 2 weeks where i will be taking a class.

    anyways,

CPU-Z says my revision is M1, and the stepping is also 7.

yea by the time we get off the plane and go through customs there will only be like another hour or so. So yea i will be staying at the airport. when i get back in two weeks, we can pick this up, where we left off, and maybe crank it up a bit.
