You haven't changed your static tread read value from auto to 9 as per LSD's suggestion my friend.

    Yes, please change static tRead.
Also, +0.1 - +0.2v on the MCH is usually normal for 2 sticks of RAM.
For 4 sticks it would be more - best to wait for LSD's response on voltage.

I'm a bit hesitant with voltages, so I usually try & suggest slower timings to begin with.
    Intel Core i5 4670k C0 @4.2Ghz - Corsair H80i
    Gigabyte GA-Z97x-SOC Force (Rev 01, BIOS F6C)
    16GB Corsair Vengeance Pro 1866Mhz DDR3 9-10-9-27 1.5v
    Gigabyte R9 280x OC Windforce

    OCZ Vertex 3 120GB SSD - Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Small print - All suggestions I give on this forum are just that - Suggestions.
I'm merely suggesting an approach/opinion which I would have taken - You are welcome to try at your own risk.

Please post for me your full settings you are trying that fail and I will advise back.

I do have to tell you though, I have helped a few people with those black dragon sticks and they were nothing but issues. But, those were the 2x1GB type that allowed 2.3+V so I think the ones you have are much different so you may be fine once you set the correct voltages, ect.

You can post fine with 4GB correct?

Thanks for sticking with me. I've tried so many things that I am confused. I misunderstood the tRead request, and changed the wrong value. But I later did set it to 10, following ComputerNut's settings.

The board does POST with 4G (2 x 2G in either bank). I purchased the RAM from Newegg, whom I have always spoken highly of. But their limited return policy is now an issue, since I can only exchange this RAM for another identical set. I either get it working or toss it in the dumpster. I think Fry's might have a more liberal policy on RAM.

Here are the current settings, I added three more values to the template.

    Code:

Well I'm unable to make any progress with this board in the last week, so I'm going to RMA the board. My sincere thanks to those who worked with me.
