    Cool EX58-UD3R +6gb OCZ @ 1600

    CPU model and rated speed:-Core i7 2.67ghz
    Overclocked CPU speed:-3.2 ghz
    OCZ3G1600LV6GK 3 x 2GB
    this kit confused me loads at first, too many NEW settings, could set ram @ 8-8-824 but that didnt show in anything but bios, so i set 7-7-7-19 @ 1066 till i decided what it all wanted

    now i did this, after reading a few guides

    'Raise the Bclock (BCLK) of the CPU to overclock the CPU and that will also raise the memory speed.' ok
    '160 Bclock will net you CPU speed of 3.2GHz and 1600 on the ram' hm, ok
    Set the memory timings to
    CAS = 8
    Trcd = 8
    Trp = 8
    Tras = 24
    CMD = 2T

    set the trc to 45
    the trfc to 90
    then the voltage to 1.64v .. ok

    turned a lot of the toys on the CPU off, booted into Memtest, seemed fine
    turned HT back on
    booted into Memtest, seemed fine
    Geekbench 64-bit gives 11016 with HT on

    im not really wanting to overclock to da max, as such .. just optimise it as far as possible
    any further advice welcome
