I had two memory modules of 2 x 1 GB OCZ2N1066SR2GK on my motherboard. Everything worked very well. When I put two more of de same modules on my MoBo it won't post up. However, with three modules it does work. Can I use this MoBo with all of these modules and if yes, how?

Looks like your ram requiers 2.1V to operate and you show your Memory Voltage @ 1.8. Id say there is your problem. Crank it up to 2.1v and see how you go with 4 moduels.
to get 2.1 for 1.8 it will be +0.3v on vdimm

Just followed your advise. It boots up, but hangs when desktop is shown.

Someone suggested to crank it up to 2.2 V. Is that wise?

Borrow a P35-S3G bios template from another thread, fill in your bios settings and post your settings.
Chances are your MCH Core voltage needs to be increased in addition to setting DRAM volts = the max rating for your memory.
You shouldn't need to raise your memory's volt setting higher than they're rated for.

Just double check what the actual stock volts are for that ram, cause if I remember I say that it was listed as 2.1-2.3 so going to 2.2 wont kill anything, for the purpose of this test to see if you can get it to work.

You listed the wrong part number for your memory in your hardware list.
The correct p/n was listed in your initial comments below the list.

Your OCZ DDR2 PC2-8500 SLI-Ready Edition Dual Channel memory is rated at 2.1 - 2.3 volts, but the website states:
**Do not exceed 2.1V specification if listed on the module label

Maybe your mobo has an allergic reaction to 4GB of SLI memory.

I bought this memory because it is on the Gigabyte QvL list.

    Tomorrow I'll post the settings.
