    Default EX58-EXTREME error 26h

I have an EX58-EXTREME motherboard. I currently have it running with 4gbs of Corsair XMS3 DDR3 1333 ram. However, whenever I try to add more RAM, the system doesn't start up and my motherboard shows error 29.

I have my RAM chips in slots DDR3_1 and DDR3_3.

I have a total of 6 2gb RAM chips (12gbs total) that are all the same make/size, etc.

Yet, when I add one more chip to slot DDR3_5 (to get a total of 6gbs ram), I get the error 29.

If I add all the chips (all 6 chips of 2gb ram), I get the same error and can't get any further along the POST.

I am currently typing this from the computer with 2 RAM chips in the two white slots DDR3_1 and DDR3_3 (4 gbs ram).

Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.

edit: I'm running Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bit.
edit edit: changed the error to 29; it's not 26. At least it looks like 29 to me from looking at the mobo LCD.
