    System Memory Multiplier. You have put 2.66C? I don't think that is a good idea with a FSB of 400. C is for an FSB of 200. You will probably have better luck with the D, or maybe the B strap.
    Not necessarily true. Maybe they would be able to use a different strap, maybe not. I'm running a 411 FSB and can't use 2.66D. Nothing I do will make it boot. 2.66C works fine though, and is 100% stable.

    OK, I won't argue with your personal experience, that would be dumb. I will simply state that I got this information by reading posts in this forum, mostly LSDMEASAPs.
    I guess my main point is that the poster will not get very far leaving everything on auto. As well, if there does not appear to be any effort to conduct their own research and try things without looking for someone else to give them the "silver bullet" solution, they are not overclocking for the right reasons. It constantly amazes me that people expect other folks to devote hours of time to help them (by conducting their own research, reading forums and posting results) yet cannot spend the time looking for themselves.
