I have tried many settings on the original two 2x2GB kits and the RMAed 2x2GB kit... the new set seems to be triggering many more memory errors in memtest86+ than the original set regardless of the BIOS settings.
I will RMA it again. I will also order a new kit of a different brand in the mean time.
Just did a quick search on Newegg, thinking about getting one of these:
    Newegg.com - G.SKILL 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK - Desktop Memory
    Newegg.com - mushkin XP ASCENT w/ eVCI technology 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory - Desktop Memory
    Newegg.com - mushkin 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM DDR2 1066 (PC2 8500) Dual Channel Kit Desktop Memory Model 996599 - Desktop Memory
    What do you guys think?

For over 1 year, the Mushkin (UD3P board) has been stable and so has the Samsung DDR2-800 (UD3R board.) I just tried the 3rd pair of Corsair and the same old issues have been popping up! I will play with the bios settings for a while longer... I have a hard time believing the memory is *REALLY* bad... i suspect some sort of compatibility/timing/voltage/etc issue... anyone figure out a solution besides repurposing the modules as a desk ornament?

Nice to hear the systems are still running well!

You could ebay those other memory sticks if you think they are still good, or RMA them to be sure then sell the kit you get in return.
