Default x58-ud4p where should NH-U12P SE1366's fans be plugged into?

Should the 2 fans for the Noctua NH-U12P SE1366 be plugged into the mb or straight to the psu? I assume if to mb one would be cpu-fan header and the other to an aux?

Also does anyone know if the thermal paste that ships with the NH-U12P SE1366 is any good compared to as5? Can't decide which to use.

Thanks for the help, trying to get my build together.

The fans that come with noctua products are very quiet at full rpm as such i personally run them from the PSU. This way they will run flat out, as i said they are very quiet.

As for the paste, the stuff that comes with the heat sink is the noctua brand. cant remember the part number but it is very good. much better than AS5, AS5 was good in its dat but has been surpassed in the last 12 months or so with quite a few producs coming out with better cooling properties.

    Hope this helps.
