    Default AHCI bios screen at start up

    ok so i enabled ahci after isntalling windows vista home premium 64 bit and it works fine, but is it normal to have the Seria ATA AHCI post screen(lists your hard drives, optical drives, etc) after the regular post screen? do i need to update it and if so how?

    yeah its normal, it has to detect the drive on bootup.

    Nah i dont think u need to update it.

    You really can't unless there is a BIOS available for your board. Check the sticky thread on top of the forum section.
