Hmm, seems odd that the address were unavailable, especially from Paypal!!

So you have every right to get worried and maybe snotty, especially since he never replied.

Ya leave no feedback for sure... then if he hits you first you will have to go ahead and nail him back

Damn, sounds like you are having some terrible luck here. Why would she be opening a sealed card box to test for you? You didn't ask for that did you? If not, sounds shady to me, like she new it was non functional and said sealed box until the sale was over. Then advised she'd test for you to be sure? Sounds funny to me for sure, but of course I don't have the full story though. I do know I would not want a sealed box to be "open for testing" unless it was a retailer who could direct replace it that day of course

For sure sounds shady if you didnt ask for it to be tested. I feel the same about it as LSD. Sealed box means Never Opened.

I agree LSD. She also assured me that the photo's of the box contents were from "another card". I believe it was used and not new.

I definitely can't afford the Dell yet Nimrod, unfortunately. IMO itd be more of an upgrade as in most games my FPS is anywhere from playable to excellent. I'd like to play Crysis on max with at least 30 FPS though, that'd be nice as I like the game play but hate the slide show.

I've been to the bank this morning and topped up my pay-as-you-go MasterCard with 85. I'm going to order another brand new ASUS 4850. That way I can use the same BIOS and know that the cooler is much better. Only problem is, I also need to buy some heatsinks as the VRM's on the ASUS one are left plain. Oh well, I'll get two sets of copper ones and change the Aluminium rubbish that came with my T-Rad2. I may have to use the hack saw on them though as the T-Rad2 hugs close to the card.

Edit: The three reasons I have to be snotty with him I actually left alone out of politeness:

    1) He never tested the product he was selling
    2) Only a blind man would have not noticed the DMI port dammage
    3) He said the shipping was "Recorded Delivery" (Signed for, tracking no.) and he actually sent it normal 1st class (all ground mail in the UK, no tracking, treated like a big letter really).

Hmm Sounds like he's just flat out dodgy. Yeah It is a bit of cash to splash on the screen. I really shouldnt have spent the money but no turning back now. hehe. Well atleast getting a new ASUS card you should be right and the bios's will be sweetly swappable.

You have every reason to be "Snotty" dont loose any sleep over it. Tell him you will punch him in the face if you dont get your money back + postage sooooooon.

I told him I'd shove him in a crate and send him cargo express to Australia, where you'd meet him at the air port and kick lumps out of him, then feed him to the dingoes after letting a Funnel Web bite his bell end. He soon paid up!.

Seriously, he did refund first thing this morning, including the return postage, so I'm now a happy bunny again.

As a bit of a bonus, the woman who gave me an instant refund left me positive feedback today. Unfortunately I couldn't return the favour as I was blocked from feedingback due to the refund being given for some reason.

I've ordered the ASUS card today, so hopefully it'll arrive by Friday, Monday at the latest.

I think I saw something on the news about a murder/rape a while back, committed by members on there by tracking down other members!!!

That kinda looks like Mass Effect Game, I have been wanting to check it out just have not had time yet.

You ever heard of "Second Life", Some murder/rapes because of that as well in the same news story.

Sorry if you get hooked to that game too!
