Maybe that is really spelled Habeeb? Google says either way

Either way, you know he will try to say his name is "Steve" or "Jeff" anyway, even if he knows we know it is really Apu/Apuu or Mohinder (Makes me miss Heroes)

LMFAO ROLF I know what your saying. You get ones that can bearly speak legably and they try and pass off their name as Tom or Chris. LOL its probably a name with every leter in the alphabet and there supervisor just gives them nick names. Its better then just numbers. Can you imagine, Hello this is 7 of 9. lol

Usually if I get through to an Indian/Pakistani call centre I get

Him: "Helloes. My name is Steve. How can I be helpings you today?"

    Me: "Pardon?"

Him: [Repeats first sentence with an annoyed tone]

Me: "Hi Steve. You don't sound Scottish."

Him: "Noes noes, UKay's call centres only. I am residing in Scotlands."

Me: "Really? What's the weather like?"

Him: "It's sunnying today." [Bhangra music in the background]

    Me: "LIAR!!"

Everyone knows it's NEVER sunny in Scotland!

The Dell's still the same price on the UK site, 250. scan.co.uk's selling it for 217.

Good news on the new GPU heatsink. Seems that it cools better than the T-Rad2 did. It's using two 100mm fans though rather than one 120mm. Both are on low (complete silence) and I'm getting 50c max load. Even better, my GPU is now completely Furmark stable at 785MHz. I'm just going to do a 775/2200 Vantage run now.

The pair of cards will fit side by side no problem. The cooler does cut off the second Crossfire connector, but the first is clear, which is all you need for two cards. Absolutely no card warping either because of the solid rubberised back plate.

To clean your matt finish monitor, give this a go Optixs Plus 500ml Concentrated Cleaning Solution with 3 Cloths & Spray Bottle .

I bought some last week to clean my HDTV. It's bloody awesome. Just dilute it down as per the instructions (it makes up to 200 litres), wet a cloth with it, wipe and wait 5 minutes for it to dry. When it's dry the surface will be completely clean. My HDTV had no smears, no marks, nothing. It's honestly the cleanest it's been for a year and a half, since I took it out of the box and ripped off the film protective layer.

To be honest I didn't believe it'd be so good, but I was wrong. Just make sure you clean the TV/Monitor when it's been off for a while. I tried it first when it was warm and it just dried too quick, leaving marks instantly as I wiped. With a cold screen it works amazingly well. You can impress the wife with it too, just walk round the house and wipe all the shiney surfaces with the same cloth. She'll wonder WTF is going on, because she can now see her face in the kitchen tiles.

PS I don't own any shares in the company that makes this. I wish I did though!

Firstly LSD yes, I would also Love to talk to 7 of 9. Can I take it you like the odd star trek episode?

Pyshco lmfao at your little dialog you have going there with your call centre opperator. I actually had to call up our local Australian Monopolising Telco Telstra the otherday to fix up a new connection for my Brother In Law, and this dude that you could not understand sounded 500X worse than Apu @ the Quicky Mart was like "Welcome to Telstra, My name is A J" I was just like Pfttt. A J WTF is that short for. lol. Glad to hear your getting your GPU's Sorted. Thats a pretty impressive overclock you have running there. dang. Saying you dont have shares makes me thing you do. Joking. I wouldnt have thought it otherwise. I did a quick google and doesnt look like that stuff if at all available in Australia.

Oh well I will find something. I know what Im going to do. I have this well wicked glass cleaner at work that is awesome and leaves no streaks, I might try it out on a matt screen at work tommorrow and if it doesnt melt it or fudge it I will try it on mine at home. Possible slightly diluted.

I'm thinking that ASUS and others are now using high binned RV770 chips that were intended for the 4870 in their 4850 line. The second card I received had dramatically reduced packaging. The first was in a box, within a box with a seperate box for the manuals and one for the accessories. the inner boxes were black with inlayed writing, very posh. The second card compared may as well have been handed to me in a carrier bag, the packing was extremely basic. Tells me they cut costs and are trying to shift as many RV770's as they can.

Turns out at 785 it'll complete Vantage with a GPU score of 8500, but it crashes games with a driver error. I've scaled back to 750 core. This is without the BIOS volt mod, so when I get round to it I should get closer to 780 ish. Hopefully the replacement card will be OK doing the same, or I'll have to scale down again to match it.

Must be something like that Psycho. High binned chips or something. As for the box being less that awesome, as long as the card does what you want it to do then I guess all is well. The box just gets thrown out anyway. Unless your like me and likes to keep the box for everything.
