DUDE, dont stress. It was never MCH+0.5v that was a typo, it was only ever and still is MCH + 0.05v. lol, that is the only volts that are not stock and got that little ***** Q9550 singing @ 3.4ghz no wucking furries.

Now Problem with those "exotic" ram choices is I bet ya its going to be like super impossible to get them locally and probably in Aus. Ill have a look.

LSD what do u think of the UD5? I first liked the UD4P but it seems that its just about near impossible to get anymore. Dont know why but I guess P55 is taking over the world. Stuff that I want X58 nowwwwwwwww

AHHAHAHA Just giving ya a hard time! I know you better than that I think.

UD4P and UD5 are the same really, except the additional LAN Connects and 2 extra GA SATA Ports. UD5 does have a better heatpipe though. I have both myself, so if you do need further input on one or the other let me know.

GA-EX58A-UD7 will be out shortly so if cash is no problem you may want to check those out, or wait a month or so for a surprise that I can't talk about :)

Lol Yeah I know u were just messing with me. The EX58A-UD7 is tommorrow and for the very reasonable price of $479AUD. The Problem is that as the same reason I have dis-regaurded the X58-EXTREME is that Basically its gunna suck if I dont water cool it and im not so yeah. I just think the big ass NB heat sink will get in the road of the cooling air flow i have in my case IDK. Maybe talk me into it. lol. Surprise hey? Well Since technically you have already talked about it . lol, Any hints? It will probably be a month or some before I actually do anything.

Ya I just linked that because you mentioned Oz and I saw that link replied at XS as I was reply to you. IS that a decent price? How much is that in US dollars?

Well the Extreme/UD7 has the additional heatpipe extension, you do not have to water cool the NB if you don't want to.

I agree with you in a way though, as I would always choose the UD4P/UD5 over Extreme/UD7 if I had to pay a lot because I would not water cool the NB either, and if I did it would be with my own blocks. So I think that aside, it leaves no reason to get one over the UD4P/UD5. UD7 does have SATA3 and USB 3 though, but like I said you could also wait a bit though.....

Na, I can't really mention what things I do know, I was just recently able to talk about the revised Extreme/UD7. You may be able to gather something from some of my hints here though, but I have been asked to not talk about anything yet so I can't say much more than I have here or there (10 Pages to dig me out of :) >>

If you are already waiting a month or more, then I would suggest you wait unless you wanted the UD7 badly which it seems you aren't too interested in.

I do highly advise a X58 system over P55 though, without a doubt

Yeah I want X58. I did hear that the revised edition Extreme would have the 333? That would be nice to have, but the time I click the "Order Confimation" button it will be within the next month or so. I like to research the crap out of everything I buy. I have also revised my original thoughs of keeping the ODIN GT. Im not 100% confident in this product as Ive already had one crap out which I think was a replacement for another one that had crapped out (serial # on box was wrong) so yeah, I do not believe it supplies a very stable voltage. IDK. Im thinking Corsair CMPSU-850HX Modula. May even go the HX1000 but its friggin big. And HOT. Question LSD I was reading your review on the VAPOR X. that is the card I concidered getting. Does it actually discharge the Hot air out the rear of the case? I guess the UD7 having that NB cooler thing wouldnt really be a problem. Im not really planning or have PCI-e X 1 cards. I have like 50 tabs open researching everything. The only thing I know for sure is Im keeping my new Logitech G15 and G5 lol. Maybe the Lian Li case

UD7 has 333, further discussion I cannot take part in yet :)

Have you looked at Ultra X3 PSU's? They are nice and provide good clean power, I have used their PSU's for years and never had any issues.

Yes the 4890 blows hot air both ways, more so towards the rear of the case and out the rear slots, but it does direct some down and towards the mosfet cooling fin as well which remains of course inside the case but most is directed towards the rear. I am glad you mentioned that, as I think I described that all wrong in my review. I am going to edit it now

I do understand that you dont need to water cool the UD7 or Extreme. Im just wondering how that big Hunk of IOH cooler will effect things that I already have in there. I really want to downsize to 1 X Kick ass GPU. I must have been out of the loop or something but what is comparable to the new HD5850? is it better then the HD4890?

Hu, No problem man. I just wanted to be totally clear on how it blew air. Ultra X3 Hey. Yep I googled it. There is like 1 Place in the Country that sells them, on the other side of the country and for like $450AUD for the 800watta. Unless your saying the corsair is no good? Also I have a secret to. I cant say too much but lets just pretend that money is no object for this build. I know I could go spastic but Im trying to keep things realistic. I just want a nice reasonable silent kick ass machine that is cool and can be stable to leave on 24/7.

I am not sure what 5000 series card compare to in the 4000 series, 4890 may be better than 5850, just not sure. Maybe there is some direct comparison reviews out there, I haven't checked around lately.

Maybe psycho101 could better say as he seems to know a great deal about GFX cards.

What part of the cooler are you referring to anyway so I am sure we are talking about the same thing. I meant you get the additional add-on large heatsink fin assembly, at least I am pretty sure UD7 has that same as extreme. *Edit* ya just checked, it is called "Hybrid Silent Pipe" and Stasio posted some images from the manual of it here

Similar to extreme, but it does look to be revised
