    Default help needed on meory timing

    hi all ok im trying to overclock my system i have used a template i used this one by outer marker

    tRead of 7 using D strap @400MHz FSB could be the problem. Try changing it to 8.
    Or if you really want 7, change strap to A or C, that worked for me.

    You shouldn't need that much vcore for 3.6GHz. What vid is you CPU? Post a screen of CoreTemp. Usually E0 revisions do 3.6GHz with as much as your vid is.
    You problem might be the RAM you are using. I don't get it how setting it to 5-5-5-15 in BIOS it's displayed 5-15-7-15 in CPU-z.
    First of all, change strap to 2.0D, to get your rated 800MHz. Then change timings to 5-5-5-15 and if that passes orthos you could try lowering to 4-4-4-12. I also think 2.2V it's too much for that RAM. What's your rated voltage? You should try 2.1V and also try using 1.22V for MCH. Everything else seems ok to me, but maybe some guru will have a look at your settings and correct them for you if something else is wrong.

    Kingston's KHX8500D2K2/4G is a kit of two 256M x 64-bit 2GB (2048MB) DDR2-1066 CL5 SDRAM (Synchronous DRAM) memory modules, based on sixteen 128M x 8-bit DDR2 FBGA components per module. Total kit capacity is 4GB (4096MB). Each module pair has been tested to run at DDR2- 1066MHz at a latency timing of 5-5-5-15 at 2.2V. The SPD is programmed to JEDEC standard latency 800Mhz timing of 5-5-5-18 at 1.8V. Each 240-pin DIMM uses gold contact fingers and requires +1.8V.

    I know I don't have the same setup as you but I do have some of that memory. I found that it gets really stable at 5-5-5-18 @ 1.95v

    this is how i have got it at the moment and fails in orthos within 2 seconds
    and my cpu fan gets faster the temp are 29c

    Try 1.225-1.25 Vtt (CPU Termination), and use Memory Multiplier 2.40B for for 960, or 2.66 D for 1066. You may need to use 2.66D for now as it will be easier since you are using 400 FSB

    And just so you know, some ram will not do tRD of 8 either at 400+ FSB, so you may have to use 9 or more MCH/Ram voltages
